Zach Remillard went 4-4 at the plate, sparking the Albany Dutchmen (23-26) to a 7-2 victory over the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (32-18) on Friday at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field.
He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings and tripled in the seventh inning.The Albany Dutchmen relied on Mike Reitcheck to eat up innings en route to the win. Reitcheck pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out five.
Adam Ashenfarb (5-2) took the loss for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
