The Lane need extra frames to finish the Lower Columbia, win 7-5

The Lane (10-9) outlasted the Lower Columbia (13-7) at Longview, WA 7-5 on Saturday after 10 innings.

With the score tied at five, Bryce Tilton came to the plate and singled, bringing home Jordan Hadley.

Hadley reached base four times. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Lower Columbia had no answer for Jalen Fuhriman, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Lower Columbia managed just one hit off of the the Lane's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Ryan Littlefield was hot from the plate for the Lower Columbia. Littlefield went 3-5 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth, seventh, and ninth innings.

D.J. Wilson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lane. Wilson struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.

Gabe Ihrig (0-1) took the loss for the Lower Columbia. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
