The Bellevue (8-2) outlasted the Lane (2-4) at Wilsonville HS 7-5 on Saturday after 12 innings.
With the score tied at five in the twelfth inning, Alex Check came to the plate and singled, scoring Tino Peleti.
Zach Usselman did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bellevue, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.
The Lane's lineup had no answer for Brooks Hanson. The Lane managed just one hit off of the the Bellevue's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his five innings of work.
