Kendall Motes struck out nine batters to lift the Chemeketa (6-5) to a 3-1 win over the Concordia JV.

Nick Livingston was hot from the plate for the Chemeketa. Livingston went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning.

Tyler Charlton allowed three earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out one over eight innings of work.

Charlton ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss.
