Tuesday was a great day for Steven Borkowski, as Borkowski threw 8 1/3 scoreless innings to carry the Top Speed Baseball (15-3) to a 6-0 victory over the Medford Rogues at Harry and David Field.
The Top Speed Baseball blew out the Medford Rogues thanks to 11 hits, including zero extra base hits. A two-run single by Drew Vanisi helped the Top Speed Baseball score two runs in the eighth. The Top Speed Baseball had two hits in the inning.
Jason Marley had a hot bat for the Top Speed Baseball. Marley went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.
