The Top Speed Baseball (6-0) and the West Coast Kings each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Top Speed Baseball capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-3 win at College of Alameda.
Drew Vanisi racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Top Speed Baseball. He homered in the seventh inning.
The West Coast Kings had no answer for Michael Slifer, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Slifer held the West Coast Kings hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
