Eric Gleese kept the Alameda Merchants (23-20) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Top Speed Baseball (42-6) beat the Alameda Merchants, 11-0.
Gleese allowed five hits, two walks and struck out six.
Six runs in the first three innings helped the Top Speed Baseball blow out the Alameda Merchants. An RBI double by Chris Miguel, an RBI single by Sam Davison, and an error during the first inning and a solo home run by Ricky Rodriguez, a solo home run by Steven Knudson, and a solo home run by Miguel in the second inning fueled the Top Speed Baseball's offense early.
Miguel racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Top Speed Baseball.
Dino Landucci couldn't get it done on the hill for the Alameda Merchants, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
