Early lead gives the Sacramento Heat easy victory over the Sacramento Legends, 11-2

The Sacramento Heat (11-9) jumped out to an early lead on the Sacramento Legends and captured an 11-2 victory on Tuesday at Sac City.

With eight runs in the first three innings, the Sacramento Heat left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run home run by Wyatt Castro, an RBI double by Josh Falco, and an RBI single by Anthony Geremia in the first inning supplied the early offense for the Sacramento Heat.

Anthony Fellman boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Sacramento Heat. He singled in the first, second, third, and fifth innings.

Brad Galisatus picked up the win for the Sacramento Heat. Galisatus pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks while striking out three.

Jorge Perez was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked none and struck out none.

The Sacramento Heat hammered the Sacramento Legends pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 17 hits, 11 RBIs and seven runs scored.
