The Brockton Rox (33-22) beat the Seacoast Mavericks (15-40) 9-2 on Saturday at Leary Field after a six-run explosion in the seventh inning.

The Brockton Rox scored in the seventh on an error, a two-run double by JD Andreessen, a two-run double by Tommy Marcinczyk, and an error.

The Seacoast Mavericks were ahead early but they ultimately surrendered the lead for good. The Seacoast Mavericks led until the seventh inning, but the Brockton Rox took the lead back on a two-run double by Andreessen.

Jonathan Salcedo racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Brockton Rox. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Max Herrmann pitched lights out for the Brockton Rox. Herrmann gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Andrew David recorded his second win of the year for the Brockton Rox. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

StigErik McElhinney was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
