The Edmonds take out the Olympic with help from Wessling, 7-2

Tanner Wessling went 2-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Edmonds (20-6) to a 7-2 victory over the Olympic (8-20) on Monday at RAC (Lacey).

He homered in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Chandler Arends got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. Arends struck out three, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Kaden Slade-White ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
