Second-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Edmonds, 17-1

The Edmonds (20-6) beat the Olympic 17-1 in seven innings on Saturday at Triton Field after a 10-run explosion in the second inning.

The Edmonds scored in the second on an RBI single by Ryland Kerr, a three-run double by David Garza, , , a two-run single by Tanner Wessling, an RBI single by Kerr, and an RBI single by Conor Plaisance.

Plaisance racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Edmonds.

Alec Kisena had an impressive outing against the Olympic (8-20)'s lineup. Kisena gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Eli Fultz was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in one inning, walked one and struck out one.

The Edmonds pounded the Olympic pitching, as seven hitters combined for 12 hits, 15 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
