Charlie Dietrich went 3-3 at the plate as the Skagit Valley (12-11) took home an 8-6 victory over the Olympic (8-16) at Skagit Valley on Sunday.

Taichi Sasaki was hot from the plate for the Olympic. Sasaki went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Peter Bovenkamp got his third win for the Skagit Valley despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered 10 hits.

Kaden Slade-White ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
