The Thompsons River beat the Olympic (11-23) 5-3 on Sunday at Kitsap County Fairgrounds behind J Young, who went 2-4.

J Tripp put together a nice outing. The Olympic managed just one hit off of the the Thompsons River's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Gillis recorded the win for the Thompsons River. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Gio Battistoni ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
