Justin Silvestro went 2-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (22-26) to a 7-5 victory over the Brockton Rox (31-21) on Wednesday at Doyle Field.

Joe Napolitano put together a nice outing. The Brockton Rox managed just one hit off of Napolitano, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Grant Lamberton reached base four times. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Blake Oyler was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
