The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (21-25) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Worcester Bravehearts (21-29) roared back to steal a 5-3 victory at Fitton Field.

An RBI single by Zack Tower gave the Worcester Bravehearts the lead in the fifth inning.

The Worcester Bravehearts relied on Mike Bruemmel to eat up innings en route to the win. Bruemmel allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Jon Kristoffersen racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He singled in the third and sixth innings.

Steve Colella ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
