Grant Lamberton collected three hits as the Brockton Rox (30-18) took home an 8-3 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (21-25) at Campanelli Stadium on Friday.

The Pittsfield Suns couldn't get anything going so long as Zack Kirby was on the hill. The Pittsfield Suns managed just two hits off of the the Brockton Rox's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out six during his six innings of work.

Brendan Geary was hot from the plate for the Pittsfield Suns. Geary went 3-4. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Robert Anderson was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
