The Worcester Bravehearts make the most of 2 hits in 7-4 victory over the Bristol Blues

Both the Worcester Bravehearts (20-28) and the Bristol Blues (26-21) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Worcester Bravehearts that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 7-4 win at Fitton Field.

The Bristol Blues couldn't get anything going so long as Adam De La Cruz was on the hill. The Bristol Blues managed just one hit off of De La Cruz, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Liam Scafariello had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Jacob Stevens recorded his second win of the year for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed two runs over five innings. Stevens struck out seven, walked two and gave up six hits.

Ryan Lauria was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
