Evan Brown racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He singled in the first and third innings.
The Pittsfield Suns had no answer for Mark Cunningham, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Pittsfield Suns managed just one hit off of Cunningham, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Brendan Geary did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Pittsfield Suns, reaching base four times. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and ninth innings.
River Carbone (1-2) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
