PJ Browne hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Browne tossed a shutout to carry the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (15-22) to a 3-0 victory over the Bristol Blues (24-17) at Muzzy Field.
Browne held the Bristol Blues scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out three.
Despite the loss, the Bristol Blues' Troy Terzi dominated the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.
Terzi ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
