The Nashua Silver Knights (17-18) and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (13-20) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Nashua Silver Knights that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 10-5 win at Holman Stadium.

Manny Cruz got on base three times in the game for the Nashua Silver Knights. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the fourth inning.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs couldn't get anything going as long as Brian Burke was pitching. Burke held the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Chris Chiaradio had a hot bat for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Chiaradio went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Cameron LaFleur improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed two runs over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Charlie Murray ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
