Ian Strom went 2-3 as the Worcester Bravehearts (10-18) took home a 4-3 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (10-16) at Leary Field on Wednesday.

Logan Fullmer pitched lights out for the Worcester Bravehearts. Fullmer gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

A bright spot for the Seacoast Mavericks in the defeat was Austin French, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

It was a good day at the plate for the Seacoast Mavericks' Louis Mele. Mele went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Taylor Doyle (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
