A bright spot for the Seacoast Mavericks in the defeat was Austin French, who allowed only one run while striking out six.
It was a good day at the plate for the Seacoast Mavericks' Louis Mele. Mele went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.
