The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (9-5) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Worcester Bravehearts (5-10) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Vineyard Baseball Park.

While the Marthas Vineyard Sharks led until the seventh inning, the Worcester Bravehearts worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Willie Allen.

Luke Brennan pitched lights out for the Worcester Bravehearts. Brennan held the Marthas Vineyard Sharks hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.

Despite the loss, the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' Zach Brown dominated the Worcester Bravehearts' batters, giving up two runs and striking out nine.

Bobby Maxwell recorded his first win of the year for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed two runs over six innings. Maxwell struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits.

Mike Parmentier ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
