Giovanni Dingcong went 1-2 as the North Shore Navigators (8-5) took home a 7-5 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts (3-10) at Fitton Field on Wednesday.
He tripled in the second innings.The Worcester Bravehearts had no answer for Cole OConnor, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. OConnor held the Worcester Bravehearts hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.
Bobby Indeglia reached base four times in the game for the Worcester Bravehearts.
Austin Cave put together a nice outing. Cave held the North Shore Navigators hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Jonathon Mulford ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
