Extra-inning thriller favors the Marthas Vineyard Sharks, 4-3 winners over the Nashua Silver Knights

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (7-2) needed 19 innings on Sunday to take down the Nashua Silver Knights (5-3) 4-3 at Holman Stadium.

With the score tied at three in the nineteenth inning, Brian Campbell came to the plate and singled, scoring Domenic De Renzo.

Donovan Casey did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Mike Parmentier pitched lights out for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Parmentier gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 3 2/3 innings of work.
