Evan Flanagan kept the Worcester Bravehearts (2-7) off the board during his six innings of work and the Seacoast Mavericks (4-5) beat the Worcester Bravehearts, 4-2.

Flanagan allowed three hits, two walks and struck out seven.

The Seacoast Mavericks scored three runs in the first inning to build an early lead. A three-run home run by Louis Mele delivered the runs in the first. The Seacoast Mavericks had two hits in the inning.

Mele racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks.

Bobby Maxwell was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
