Paparelli's single gives the Torrington Titans walk-off win over the Worcester Bravehearts, 2-1

A walk-off single from Joe Paparelli brought home the winning run for the Torrington Titans (4-4) in a 2-1 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts (2-7) in 13 innings at Fuessenich Park on Friday.

Paparelli reached base four times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the thirteenth inning.

Nick Lamberti got on base four times in the game for the Torrington Titans. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the first and thirteenth innings.

The Worcester Bravehearts had no answer for Ray Krieger, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Worcester Bravehearts managed just one hit off of the the Torrington Titans' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Evan DeVico recorded his first win of the year for the Torrington Titans. DeVico struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Adam De La Cruz was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
