Davis Strong went 2-3, sparking the Bristol Blues (3-1) to a 7-6 victory over the Torrington Titans (2-2) on Sunday at Fuessenich Park.

A bright spot for the Torrington Titans in the defeat was Nick Johnson, who allowed only one run while striking out seven.

Tim Cate improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Bristol Blues. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered two hits.

Ray Krieger was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
