Matthew OHerron went 2-4, helping the Nashua Silver Knights (1-1) to a 3-2 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (1-1) on Friday at Holman Stadium.
He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.The Nashua Silver Knights got the win thanks in large part to Ryan Moloney's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. Moloney allowed two earned runs on two hits and two walks over seven innings.
Austin French (0-1) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed one run.
