Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Harwich Mariners (2-3) outscored the Wareham Gatemen (3-2) 12-11.

The teams totaled 25 hits in the game.

Preston Palmeiro racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Harwich Mariners. He singled in the first inning, homered in the sixth inning, and doubled in the ninth inning.

The Wareham Gatemen had no answer for Anthony Ciavarella, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Wareham Gatemen managed just one hit off of Ciavarella, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out seven during his four innings of work.

Jay Jabs racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Wareham Gatemen. He homered in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Tyler Zombro (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
