A walk-off single from Reggie Lawson brought home the winning run for the Traverse City Beach Bums (54-38) in a 5-4 victory over the Frontier Greys (40-54) in 10 innings at Wuerfel Park on Friday.
Lawson got on base three times in the game for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He singled in the fifth and tenth innings.
Greg Harisis was solid at the plate for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Harisis went 3-5 and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth and ninth innings.
Dominique Vattuone improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.
