JD Dorgan went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Evansville Otters (45-41) to a 4-3 victory over the Frontier Greys (39-47) on Wednesday at Bosse Field.
He singled in the second, fourth, and seventh innings.The Frontier Greys couldn't get anything going so long as Connor Little was on the hill. The Frontier Greys managed just one hit off of Little, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Frontier Greys' Max Homick dominated the Evansville Otters' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.
Nick McBride ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
