Ryan Brockett collected three hits, helping the Schaumburg Boomers (35-50) to a 6-4 victory over the Joliet Slammers (36-49) on Tuesday at Silver Cross Field.

Brett Mabry picked up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. Mabry allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Spencer Medick was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
