Dillon Haviland held the Washington Wild Things (36-48) scoreless for six innings to boost the Gateway Grizzlies (34-49) to a 5-0 victory.

Haviland struck out one and allowed three walks and five hits.

Tyler Tewell blasted two home runs for the Gateway Grizzlies. Tewell went 3-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Tewell homered in the fifth and seventh innings.

Matt Fraudin couldn't get it done on the mound for the Washington Wild Things, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
