Collins Cuthrell racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the first inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Kyle Ruchim racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.
Zach Wendorf recorded his second win of the year for the Florence Freedom. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Wendorf struck out four, walked six and gave up five hits.
Eddie Cody couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Schaumburg Boomers, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked five and struck out five.
