Johnny Morales went 2-2, helping the River City Rascals (39-32) to an 8-5 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (29-41) on Saturday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

Mike Torres did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Windy City ThunderBolts, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Tommy Lawrence recorded his first win of the year for the River City Rascals. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked five and surrendered four hits.

Danny Jimenez (3-8) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
