The Frontier Greys (33-37) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Lake Erie Crushers (30-39) roared back to steal a 4-2 victory at All Pro Freight Stadium.
A two-run single by Jose Barraza gave the Lake Erie Crushers the lead in the eighth inning.
Barraza racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He singled in the seventh and eighth innings.
The Frontier Greys had no answer for Mike Devine, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Frontier Greys managed just one hit off of Devine, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Frontier Greys' Max Homick dominated the Lake Erie Crushers' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.
Steven Wehr ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
