The Frontier Greys (30-34) beat the Joliet Slammers (27-39) 8-6 but needed 10 innings to do so on Sunday at Silver Cross Field.

With the score tied at six in the tenth inning, Zach Tanner came to the plate and homered, bringing home Dillon Haupt.

Michael Antonio racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Frontier Greys. He homered in the third inning, doubled in the eighth inning, and singled in the second and tenth innings.

Alfredo Rodriguez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Joliet Slammers. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Steven Wehr recorded his first win of the year for the Frontier Greys. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Navery Moore ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
