Nick Grim kept the Florence Freedom (27-30) off the board during his six innings of work and the Rockford Aviators (32-24) beat the Florence Freedom, 6-2.

Grim allowed two hits, two walks and struck out two.

Cody Lenahan paced the Rockford Aviators at the plate. Lenahan went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second and ninth innings.

Chuck Weaver ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in nine innings, walked two and struck out six.
