Alexi Colon went 1-2 and hit a home run, sparking the Schaumburg Boomers (23-31) to a 2-1 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (21-30) on Sunday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

Eddie Cody picked up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. Cody allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Trevor Longfellow (4-3) took the loss for the Lake Erie Crushers. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
