Jordan Kraus kept the Normal CornBelters (29-22) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Frontier Greys (23-25) beat the Normal CornBelters, 5-0.

Kraus struck out four and allowed two walks and three hits.

A bright spot for the Normal CornBelters in the defeat was Horacio Acosta, who allowed only one run while striking out five.

Michael Schweiss (4-6) took the loss for the Normal CornBelters. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
