Alexi Colon had two extra base hits, helping the Schaumburg Boomers (19-24) to a 5-4 victory over the Evansville Otters (27-16) on Friday at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium.

Shayne Houck racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Evansville Otters. He homered in the eighth innings.

Brandon Bargas improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. Bargas struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Connor Little (1-3) took the loss for the Evansville Otters. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The Schaumburg Boomers were sparked by Craig Massey and Colon, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
