Four first-inning runs helped the River City Rascals (21-14) to a 10-5 win over the Rockford Aviators (23-11) at T. R. Hughes Ballpark on Tuesday.

The River City Rascals scored in the first on a groundout by Josh Ludy, a two-run home run by Danny Canela, and a solo home run by Taylor Ard.

Brian Hansen racked up four RBIs on five hits for the River City Rascals. He doubled in the second inning, homered in the sixth inning, and singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.

The River City Rascals relied on Dane Stone to eat up innings en route to the win. Stone pitched seven innings and allowed three earned runs, six hits and no walks while striking out five.

Dusty Robinson racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Rockford Aviators. He homered in the fourth inning.

Kyle Brueggemann (4-2) took the loss for the Rockford Aviators. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
