The Lake Erie Crushers (10-15) and the Washington Wild Things (12-17) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Lake Erie Crushers that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-3 win at All Pro Freight Stadium.

Joey Burney was hot from the plate for the Lake Erie Crushers. Burney went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Trevor Longfellow pitched lights out for the Lake Erie Crushers. The Washington Wild Things managed just three hits off of Longfellow, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Tim Flight was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
