The Joliet Slammers (8-11) didn't have a chance on Friday, as the Evansville Otters (13-6) won in blowout fashion, 9-2 at Silver Cross Field.

Trevor Walch picked up the win for the Evansville Otters. Walch pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and five walks while striking out three.

Hunter Ridge reached base three times. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Jordan Guth couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Joliet Slammers, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out none.
