The River City Rascals (38-32) used a three-run explosion in the seventh inning to get past the Frontier Greys (33-36) 8-2 on Sunday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

Zach Kometani racked up four RBIs on four hits for the River City Rascals. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Ben Lodge had two extra-base hits for the Frontier Greys. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the second and sixth innings.

Tim Koons recorded his eighth win of the year for the River City Rascals. He allowed one run over five innings. Koons struck out two, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Justin DAlessandro ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
