Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Yakima Valley (12-6) outscored the Tacoma (13-7) 10-8.

The teams totaled 25 hits in the game.

The Yakima Valley's Brandon Smith was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the eighth innings.

Landon Croft got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Greg Casper was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
