Jared Koenig hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Koenig threw a shutout to carry the San Francisco Seagulls (24-19) to a 1-0 victory over the Nevada Big Horns (19-20) at North Tahoe Park.

Koenig held the Nevada Big Horns scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up eight.

Michael Jenkerson was hot from the plate for the San Francisco Seagulls. Jenkerson went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Jake Chambers (2-4) took the loss for the Nevada Big Horns. He lasted just nine innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
