CJ Gettman kept the Skagit Valley (6-5) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Wenatchee Valley (3-3) beat the Skagit Valley, 4-1.

Gettman allowed six hits, one walk and struck out nine.

It was a good day at the plate for the Wenatchee Valley's Erik Sauve. Sauve went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Jacob Howard (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
