Handel's walk-off sacrifice fly send the N Ohio Baseball Club home winners, 5-4

A walk-off sacrifice fly from Hunter Handel brought home the winning run for the N Ohio Baseball Club (2-0) in a 5-4 victory over the Lorain County Ironmen in 11 innings at Mills Field on Friday.

Handel racked up three RBIs on two hits for the N Ohio Baseball Club. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Benjamin Szymczak had a hot bat for the N Ohio Baseball Club. Szymczak went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings and doubled in the eleventh inning.

Cory Blessing pitched lights out for the N Ohio Baseball Club. Blessing held the Lorain County Ironmen (0-2) hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Jamie MacLean ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed one run.
