Molitor's walk-off single send the Kokomo Jackrabbits home winners, 5-4

A walk-off single from Shea Molitor brought home the winning run for the Kokomo Jackrabbits (30-30) in a 5-4 victory over the Springfield Sliders in 11 innings at Kokomo Municipal Stadium on Thursday.

Molitor had a hot bat for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. Molitor went 2-6 and scored one run. He singled in the first and eleventh innings.

Brody Andrews reached base three times in the game for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

The Springfield Sliders (29-30) couldn't get anything going so long as Bryce Rainey was on the hill. The Springfield Sliders managed just four hits off of the the Kokomo Jackrabbits' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his five innings of work.

Ryan Fleming improved to 4-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jevon Boyd was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
